2.  Do you have a studio?

Yes, my Hawk Meadow studio is a 1,200 square foot custom space located on 10 private acres with both indoor and outdoor portraits available.  I am located approximately 10 minutes from the Latrobe Road exit of Highway 50 in El Dorado Hills.  Session locations are selected based on the desire of the client.  All in person consults and sales appointments are held at the Hawk Meadow studio.  4040 Hawk Meadow Road, Shingle Springs, California.

3.  We have scheduled a session, now what happens?

Prior to your portrait session we will meet in person to plan your shoot.  At your consult, we will discuss shooting locations, clothing choices, weather, hair and make-up.  In addition to planning, the in-person consult provides you and your family with the chance to meet me and become comfortable.

4.  How many outfits should I bring?

Bring as many outfits, shoes and accessories as you would like.  However, we can only use the count of outfits your session allows for.  Please have all of your clothing choices ironed and hung on hangers to help with the selection process. I have a popup changing room that we can setup anywhere for changing on location.

5.  Is makeup application included in my session?

No, professional hair styling and makeup application is not included in the cost of your session retainer fee.  However, I work weekly with several professional hair and makeup artists whom I trust to provide  a wonderful experience to my clients.  The cost for professional hair and makeup application will be paid directly to the stylist.

6.  Can other people be in my senior portraits?

Either your family or your BFF can join in the fun of you senior portrait session for a few minutes.  

7.  How do we order our portraits?

It is so exciting to see your portraits for the first time!  As quickly as 2 days after your portrait session we will meet at my studio to view, select and order your portraits. Don’t worry I have software to make the image selection process easy.  Bring all decision makers to your sales appointment.  You will be selecting your images to purchase and paying for the order at this appointment. 

8.  What do portraits cost?

Discounted portrait packages start at $499.   A la carte pricing starts at $99 for small prints, $199 for custom wall art and $999 for custom albums.  Minimum purchase requirements are waived for 30 minute and hour portrait session taken at the Hawk Meadow studio.  There is a $499 minimum purchase required for session up to an hour sessions done on location.  There is a $899 minimum purchase requirement for hour and a half sessions and a $1499 minimum purchase requirement for 2 hour sessions.   Check out Hawk Meadow Studio HERE.   If you have a budget in mind, please tell Audrey Perez Photography.  Session retainer fees are non refundable.  Due to the custom nature of the product no changes can be made to an order upon agreement and payment of the invoice.  Orders must be placed and paid for within 30 days of a portrait session.

9.  Do you charge for editing an image?

I personally edit every ordered image for a beautiful polished look at no additional charge. However, there is a $15 charge per image for the removal of braces and the glare from glasses.

10.  Do you sell digital files?

Yes, digital files are available for purchase.  My goal is to provide your family with beautiful printed art but for those who wish to have digital negatives there is the an option to purchase. Watermarked digital files for social media sharing are included with all portrait package purchases.  

11.  How long will it take to receive my order?

Your custom wall art and print order will be ready for pick-up in 2-4 weeks.  Custom albums will be delivered in 4-8 weeks.

12.  Can I post my portraits to Social Media such as Instagram?

I know that you are excited you share your portraits and I want you to share your portraits!!!  All portrait packages come with watermarked files for sharing.  Audrey Perez Photography posts to social media sites when given permission by the client and we only share portraits from paid portrait orders.  

13.  Does my session fee include prints, products or digital files?

The session retainer fee covers the time and talent of the photographer including a session consult, portrait session, editing and preparation of your portrait reveal session.  The session retainer fee is required to be paid in full in order to schedule a portrait session.  All major credit cards and personal checks are accepted forms of payment.  The session fee is non-refundable however I will work to accommodate session changes due to illness, emergencies or weather within my schedule with a notice of 5 business days.

Business Hours: Business hours for consults and sales sessions are Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm by appointment only. Portrait sessions are scheduled Monday-Friday until sunset. Emails, phone messages and texts will be returned within 24 hours, Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm.
